Quick question - about to order

Hi, quick one for you guys.

Im about to order a system for my mate, Gigabyte DS3 and E4300, I was going to order the Crucial PC5300 but the Geil is on special offer this week, Value PC6400 C5 for £55, how will this do? enough to clock to about 2.5Ghz?

You won't need anything more than PC5300 for the clocks you want.
Should check the forum about both the sets of RAM you suggest, there are ?s against both.

I would suggest Corsair XMS PC5400 C4 which can be had for less than £50 would be all you need.

Thanks, that corsair is out of stock at OcUK and it all had to come from here.

We went for the Geil, hopefully it will do fine, he isnt after anything major anyway.

Got a Lian Li Pc7 on TWO, im having that and he is having my Antec 900, and ordered myself a Zalman fan controller too.
