Quick question about xbmc

Hi,
Is xbmc capable of using storage on another machine to stream music/videos??
Am thinking about building small pc for playing blurays and to stream videos/photos/music from main machine to the tv.
At the moment am using wdtv but want to use pc.
Wdtv is great and streams really good.

So is it capable of doing that? If it is, would get a ssd for system...

Yes XBMC can do this. If the computers are networked you will have no problem. I have some movies stored on my pc upstairs and stream them to the downstairs tv no problem.

I've got a Coolermaster Silent Pro 600w and a Silverstone LC17 Case (ATX mobo)

PSU is so quiet you wouldnt know its on.
