Hi All

I've got a Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 cooler it already has thermal paste on it. Do I still need to put on Artic Silver 5 paste onto the CPU? If so, how much should I apply and whats the best method to apply it?

either use the stuff that is pre-applied to the cooler.

Or, wipe it off, then apply a pea sized blob to the top of the cpu, then you can either fit the heatsink and give it a little wiggle to spread the stuff, or spread the pea sized blob yourself with a finger in the corner of a food bag.

thanks stu which way should the cooler be installed fan towards graphics cards slots or 180 degrees other direction?

Ideally you want the cooler airflow blowing to the rear of your case and out the main exhaust case fan. However, it will depend on the way you have set up the air flow in your case.
