Paladin imho. My lv30 pala can easily attack and kill lv35's for some serious experience. Also heals.

Not to mention how it can be quite easy to get a good group, or do PVP to get some seriously nice gear / trinkets at level 20.

Holy Priest. Wand them to death while healing yourself every now and then

Soloing, a hunter is very easy to level quickly. Mind you, everyone hates hunters these days. Rogues are quick to level too.
I'm a mage. I've been one since day 1 of release. I've rerolled 3 times, always as a mage but different servers and races. I love it. We have decent survivability when frost specced (best levelling spec IMO) too.

TBH, no class in WoW is bad. Druids I think are probably the most versatile, but I just can't ditch my mages
