Quick question re:banking

most tv manufacturers have local repair people to come to your home to fix them . I know Panasonic and pioneer do

thats if you want a warranty repair

if the shop stuffs up and the courier damages it in transit or whatever, you've got the hassle of waiting for couriers etc...

Some dont mind this (myself included) but others do. Theres no doubting that good old high street shopping is the most convenient, especially with expensive electricals.

I'd say if the box looks damaged either refuse delivery on those grounds or make the couirer wait whilst you inspect it.

But I do agree with you high street is the most convenient and the net is by far the cheapest :D

Paid for the Porsche with a switch card, about 10 seconds from entering PIN to phone ringing, a few security questions all all was ok :p

Heck yea. Its YOUR money and upto YOU what you do with it.

If you choose to blow the lot, thats YOUR own problem. Personal responsibility works both ways.....

BTW, also paid for my car (5 figures) on a switch card, just needed to answer afew security questions (which is fair enough considering the amount).
