Hey

Just recived my new upgrade bits and the PSU only has one sata power supply, however my current psu has some kind of adapter, splitting a 4pin molex into two sata power cables.

Could i install my new HDD, install the OS etc then using this 'splitter' plug in the old HDD and copy the files across to the new HDD then get rid of the old HDD? (it sounds like its on it's last legs)

Basically i want to be sure everything will be ok before i destory the old pc, i think it will be but it doesn't hurt to check :)
Thanks

Yep, nothing wrong with that. Just make sure that you only have the new HDD connected while you install the OS and that the BIOS boot priority doesn't change when you connect the old one.
