Quick question regarding MSI Afterburner

Does it need to be loaded for the overclock to initiate, or is it a case of once set I don't need to have it running in background?

you just need to apply your OC settings then you can close the program and the settings will stay untill you restart your system.

If you want to run a custom fan curve setup in AB,the program has to be running for it to work.
