Hi

I recently bought a Q6600, Abit IP 35 Mobo and OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC2-5400C5 cooled with a Tuniq Tower.

Now my question is regarding the ram. It says it runs at 1.8V and at 667Mhz. Does this mean when I change my FSB that I have to keep my ram at 667Mhz on the DRAM speed? Or can I increase it slightly to get a better FSB, and if so how much?

Thanks

U can control the ram mutiplyer in the bios. Probably best to set it as 1:1 wich sets the ram freq the same as the fsb bus speed (so 400mhz fsb=400mhz mem speed=800mhz ddr). So a 1:1 setting will get you a fsb of 333mhz without taking you ram above spec. anything after that could mean overvolting your ram or loosening timmings.
What ram do u have?

Hope this helps
Sulli
