How much could one expect to pay for enough petrol to cover a 132 mile trip?

Depends entirely on the car.

I'd say around £15 would do it but i'd put £20 in to be on the safe side.

I guess you mean a 1.2. Probably between £15 and £20 the i'd imagine. Also depends on what sort of driving eg. Motorway, A roads etc. Too many variables to be accurrate.

£20 should cover that in a 1.2 corsa depends entirely on your style of driving and what sort of roads and speeds youll be doing though.

I wasn't planning on actualy making a 132 mile journey, was just wondering what it would be.

If it was the 1.1 saxo I used to drive, if it was mainly motorway miles, around £10, if lots of city/slower stop/start driving, £15-£20.

I was having a dig at the 1.2 Corsa. I drove one once (Courtesy car) and it sounded like it was about to fall apart when I got to about 60!

I used to have a Corsa, £15 should cover it just nicely, although if I was going on a long trip I would always fill the tank right up to be on the safe side.

Why not ask how many mpg ppl usually get in that car then you can work it out for 1 mile or 1 million miles!

£15 in mine gave a reading of 132 on the "petrol left" indicator thingy when I filled up today.
