Yeah, so long as the road is 20+ miles long, and you don't mind being bored as sin whilst accelerating to 100+.

My corsa 1.2 was dire.

Had an indicated 140MPH in the VTR on the M6 toll. Go knows what it was "actually" doing though.

In an average car, being driven in an average way, I'd say you'd not be too far off the mark budgeting between 10 and 15p per mile.
