Quick question regarding vRAM usage

Recently crossfired my 7950 ice Q and when in game, namely Crysis 3 have seen vRAM usage (monitoring using Afterburner/riva) exceed 3GB. How is this possible? Also when trying Titanfall Beta in the menus it is showing usage of nearly 6GB. Is this something to do with how Afterburner displays the usage or is it a weird bug i have? Can take screenshots etc if necessary. Thanks

It will display total vram used between all cards, so half it to get your single card usage.

But crossfire only uses one cards vram?? With 2 3GB 7950s max vram usage i should see it 3GB right?

Afterburner displays it doubled up on Amd cards so you have to halve it to get the effective amount

Ahhh Vice City.... Good times. Any ideas why Afterburner shows the usage like that Matt? Not checked in gpu z yet as my son has taken over my comp for Lego Marvel Superheroes.

As has been said above, it doubles up the vram usage so halve it and you have how much vram is actually being used.

Yeah, I get that. Just wondering why it doubles it. Seems a bit weird.
