If you're worried though call the NHS direct and they'll tell you what the best course of action is.
 
if you're worried, call NHS direct. if your symptoms are serious, they'll send an on-call doctor. excellent service.
 
Like said above, but GPs do not do out of hours any more, so you will need to go to either your local drop in centre, primary care, or a&e

Tbh if someone broke into my house and shot me I'd probably post on here asking "What's the number for 999?"
