quick question

just got another gig of ram in 2x512mb sticks

on my mobo i have the DIMM slots set out as:

dimm_a1 dimm_a2 dimm_b1 dimm_b2

now all lots will be filled and unfortuanlty i have to brands of ram, geil and corsair. as cas lats and all are ddr400

do i go --> Geil,Cor,Geil,Cor

or: ---> Geil,Geil,Cor,Cor

Look in your manual and find out which slots match up for dual channel. You want the Corsair to be matched on 1 channel and the Geil matched on the other channel. Not all MOBOs lay their DIMM slots out the same so check your specific manual.
