Guys, i need to test a corsa air psi as i have a feeling that the product may be faulty. However, if i unplug my psu power cable from my motherboard will i lose all my settings in bios.........? As i have my pc overclocked i really cant be bothered to re-set everything.

Also, is it possible for some psu's to be not compatible with particular motherboards....? Reason i ask is that the aove PSU was working fine for a fe hours and now it refuses to post at all on my friends computer. However it works perfectly fine with his old psu.

Your settings are stored on a bios chip that is non-volatile i.e. it won't lose your settings unless you use the clear CMOS jumper.

It is possible I suppose that a PSU might not be compatible with a particular motherboard but I'd think it is rare.
