Hey all,Just a quick question.
I have a friend that phoned me last night and said they had let another friend put a new hd and stick of ram into thier current computer. and upon booting,The computer turned on but nothing came onto the monitor (i'm assuming they have tried formatting with the new hd too). And that the computer now makes a beeping sound when turned on.
They said they tried putting the old ram back into the board and still have the same problem with no screen.
My only thoughts are: maybe the ram was not compatible with the mobo,And maybe the person who put the components in might have gotten static to the mobo and naffed the onboard vga up
Would i be right in thinking this?? Or has anyone else got any solutions?? I just wanted a little heads up before going round 2moz and having a look for myself.
