quick question

i got an extra fan 2 day for the computer i want to test it to make sure it works. i dont have a processor atm can i connect everything up and give it a quick test or is that a no no?

Connect it to the psu and link out pins 13 & 14 on the main ATX connector on the psu.

PS - Your sig is to big, max 4 lines of std text.

I was going to suggest removing the 20/24 pin connector and 4/8 pin connector from your MB to isolate it and connect the fan direct to the PSU via a molex connection.
