Alright lads.

Just a quick one however I do have a feeling I know the answer already.

Scenario is basically I currently have a Internal Hard Drive being used as an External via a Hard Drive enclosure. Now obviously this currently has data on and has been partioned in two. I'm getting my new components tomorrow and have decided to use this as an internal hard drive once again. However not as the primary hard drive and as more of a backup one. Will I have to format this hard drive in order for it to be used in the new system or will it simply be a case of plugging it in and the files being able to be seen/accessed once I have installed Windows on the primary hard drive. I'm pretty sure I won't need to format it however it is always best to check.

Chears,
Tom.

You're right, no need to format.

Drive should be fully accessible for your data and since you won't be using it as a boot drive you can free up some space by removing the OS on it. ;)
