Quick question.

On the Lian-li EX-30 (Link) is it possible to have each disk separately usable or do they have to be in RAID?

I want to have a backup of each drive in my computer and having all 3 drives in one enclosure but able to back up each of my 3 drives onto a corresponding drive in the enclosure...if you get what I am saying? I think I may have explained that quite badly but hopefully someone can work out what I am getting at.

It looks like you can have 2 disks in JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks) configuration which means non RAID. It's not clear but I think it's saying if you have 3 drives you must use RAID but with 2 you don't have to.

Does that make sense?

I think so... that sucks. Oh well.

Edit: Aaah just noticed it can do BIG. Oh but thats not the same as JBOD?

Edit again: On the Lian-li website it says this:

"Support Single(Port-Multiple); Fast(RAID0); Safe(RAID1); BIG(LARGE)"

Does "port-multiple" mean it will address each disk individually?
