Quick Release Head for Tripod

I'm looking to but a quick release head, I was looking at the Manfrotto 625 (was 225) and also the more widely used Manfrotto 323. Not having used or seen either, which one would be recommended?

Also, once I purchase a QR Unit will I then need to buy the plates that go on the bottom of the camera/70-200 separately or will it come with a few?

Depends what you're looking for. I recently had a scan at some and bought this:

It uses a single release key for all directions and is very light, despite being able to handle 6kg of weight. Might suit your needs.

I saw that one, it's got the QR system I want but I already have a ball head. I just want the top bit to put on my head.
