This may not be the right place, but Im not sure where is!
For work and home I have 2 "things" attached to my keyring.
One looks like this:
http://www.partlancer.com/pics/Blue-RFID-125Khz-Proximity-ID-Token-Key-Tags-Keyfobs.JPG.jpg
and the other looks like a half size black cigarette.
I think these use RFID but I am a little confused as to the difference between RFID and NFC.
Using an Android phone and an appropriate app, I tried to see if the app would read these devices, but nothing was received.
I used the same apps to read my credit card and oyster card successfully.
I therefore assume they use different technology to the 2 devices I have for door entry.
I am asking for your help as I was wondering if I could put 2 small RFID tags inside my phone case or watch to cut down on the amount of things I have to carry.
However, now I am confused as to what technology means what and what comes under the NFC umbrella.
Is what I am trying to do even possible?
Thanks
Andrew
