Hey guys,

May be a daft question, but it just sprung into my head.

For the fan profiles etc to work, do you actually need to have opened Rivatuner, or have it running at startup for the profiles to take effect. Or will they work regardless of whether Rivatuner is physically open??

Kick me if its a silly question and i should know better! :(
 
In the middle of the fan settings page theres a "use these settings at startup option" tick this and click save and the settings will automatically be applied when windows starts.
 
I've had to do mine via the scheduler, because of 2.09 not showing the fan thresholds in the hardware monitoring setup, so will i need a different option to which you described?

There's the option of via registry or startup folder, which is in the settings tab.
