quick sata question

My new Samsung 250GB HDD has just turned up and i want to get it in the PC before the g/f comes home

There are instructions that explain where to put the jumper to limit the speed to 1.5GB instead of the 3GB.

I want to set this up as a secondary drive to my 80gb Samsung Sata HDD. Where should i place the jumper? Or dont i need to?

Im new to SATA

PS, i really dont want to format and set up a RAID system.

Sata HDD's dont norm have or need jumpers to work normally, but Samsung have a jumper to let you set it to sata 150 speeds instead of sata 300 so you dont get issues on any sata 150 mobos, which probably wouldnt happen anyhow as it auto selects speed, there will be no issue running with your EIDE HDD along with it, just set 1st boot to SATA or SCSI (I dont know what your bios says) as HDD0 is norm the 1st EIDE HDD it can find in the case of my set up, obv this is if you want the Sata drive to be the windows drive.
