Quick Shift Kits

I think it will take more than a short shifter to fix the gearbox in the 206. Its something beyond awful....

An another note: When did you get the 206? What version did you get and how come?

i tried to fit one to a car a had a few years ago and totally didnt fit. have one now though and it really feels good. would reccomend it!

Gearbox on the 205 feels like a bag of sick until you fit a quickshift. I have a GE one (they make them up the road from where I used to live) and it's really nice, the same as the second one in your pictures)

A mate had the 1.1 205, first was far to long a reach, in my XR it's got a shorter shift (I think similar/same to GTIs), which is awesome, allows for quick changes...although I could get 65 in 2nd with that car happily.

All the kit is doing is moving the linkages under the car a bit is it not? So it shouldn't have too much of an issue and be fine...but I've never had a long-shift French car, so don't know what I'm not missing.

Friend of mine has a quick shift kit on his Fiest Zetec S, made a massive differance there.
