Came back from San Diego last week and took this by the beach, turned out rather good I think

How do i find those out?

Post processing was just the border in photoshop and darkening it slightly.

I didn't like the top corners, or the fact that the horizon is angled. Excluding that, love the shot.

Oh, terribly sorry.

When you open your image in Photoshop, edit the Image Size (Image > Image Size) to get the picture size as you want it, then choose the File > Save As option and move the slider until you get the balance between quality and filesiza that you are after.

Or you can just right-click on the original JPEG, choose Properties > Summary > Advanced and copy down the vital statistics. Usually these are the most useful:

Camera | Focal Length | Shutter Speed | Lens Aperture | ISO Speed | Metering Mode |

My views are similar to Mr_Sukebe's.. don't like the corners and the horizon is crooked.. can see the potential though and nice colours..

The dark corners at first look suggested that you had used a wrong size lens hood which had darkened the corners.
