Quick sky remote help

My dad had problems with the batteries in the sky remote today and took longer than 10 minutes to replace them. Now it doesn't work even though it has new batteries in. What can we do?

If you leave your remote control without working batteries for longer than 10 minutes, the TV compatability settings are lost. After replacing the batteries you can control your Sky box as usual but you have to set it up to work with your TV, as described in this leaflet.
