Just wondering I know that you have to have 2 exact boards does that mean I have to have 2 XFX 7800 gtx 256mb's? or can you mix and match. Is it down to just having the same bios's?

I think they need to have the same cores, so a 7800GT will only work with another one etc

Just watch out if you're using same cores but with different stock clock-speeds.
As enabling SLI will set the clockspeed to the highest clocked core.
Which may cause instability on the lower stock clocked core.
