Mainly DC universe. Want to get back into first person shoot em up games again, and some racing games. My previous graphics card was a 4850 so anything is an improvement on that. What card would you go for as cash is a bit tight? Also psu... worth going for the corsair 430 instead of the ocz one?

Swap the motherboard to a Gigabyte Z77-DH3. The MSI one that you have chosen has locked voltages and so will limit overclocking should you upgrade to a 'K' series processor.

the PSU is fine to be honest, the corsair 430w is a budget option also. I also second upping to the Gigabyte z77 board. Tbh I would look in the used market as better cards can be had for the money. but if you need new, 7770 is about the best youll get for less than 120.

Thanks all, I have swapped the msi board for the gigabyte board. Always had gigabyte boards just liked the look of the msi but wasn't 100% sure as like i say always had gigabyte. Would prefer new just as I am not allowed to spend money often (wife) so would prefer to buy new just for warranty and new stuff in boxes etc.. Stupid I know but my old system was a core 2 duo with a 4850 so this has to be a massive upgrade from that.
