Quick Spec Check Please

No probs now, all is working.

Used my very old XP Home disk I bought an age ago.

Just out of interest here, but I have slightly overclocked a bit to 2.7 GHz. Using Coretemp the 4 cores have a temperatures between 37-42 degrees - are these normal temperatures? I'm using the supplied cooler from Intel (although I'll use the tuniq 120 at some point - got annoyed whilst trying to install it so gave up).

EDIT #2: cpuz says my memory is PC25300 (333 MHz) - shoudn't this be 1066 MHz as I bought PC28500 1066 Mhz memory. if so, how do i change this?

EDIT #3: Also gave up on the tuniq 120 as It was annoyingly a pain to install. However, have been reading reviews and it seems to be one of the best coolers around. Now, exactly which way up is this supposed be installed, as iirc it would fix horizontally ansd vertically.

Cheers.

thats how i did with mine.

The temps are ok considering it's stock cooler. Tuniq with MX-2 should drop them to about 28-34c if your airflow and case temp are good.

It's not that hard to install actually, just attach the right backplate, screw it the mobo in, put small blob of paste on the cpu, make sure you got the right for your mobo mounting on the cooler ( should be the H for 775 ), put the cooler on, you can rotate it 180 and back if you want, put that long huge screws in and start screwing in slowly - thats the only tough part ;).

If you got any more probs write on my trust email and ill send you some more detailed pics of how it should look if you want.

Thanks for reply. The only reason why its a total pain in the ass to fit is becasue of my case - a LL PC-65. Its easy to install when i have the taken the removal mobo tray out and have room to work. Howver, this doesn't work as the tuniq is too tall to fit back in :(

So I'm having to install this when its in the case.
