Most of the memory for sale on OcUK says it is specifically designed for Intel P55 chipsets, I presume there's no issue with an AMD CPU?

I can get OCZ Gold 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 12800C8 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel for £120, worth the difference?

I've got a Hiper 450 watt PSU, up to the task?

I've seen some comments about the stock cooler, is it really that loud?

Thanks for your help,

Jon.

better ram- http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-048-GS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517

tri-channel ram is for intel i7 systems.

and the stock AMD cooler is loud, but atleast the hot days of a month ago are gone.

and get the USB3.0 version of the motherboard for the same price- http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-410-AS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1782

is the pc going to be used for gaming? with the money saved with the ram and a little more cash you can afford a 5770.

And if you got the retail version of Win7, you can use it again, the OEM is tied to the motherboard.

don't get ocz memory, from what I've heard a lot of it comes DOA or dies pretty quickly

also get a 1055T instead of the 955

I'd go for the 5830 and X4 rather than the 5770 and X6 for gaming :)
