Just had a quick look at a 4670k build, is the extra 40 or so quid worth it?

The mobo even comes with a cooler, hopefully it'll fit in my case :D

If you want to overclock then the "K" CPU and Z87 is worth it..especially as you are also getting a free cooler.

Didn't think it'd work worth the mobo as it only has a 24 pin & 4.pin power connectors for the motherboard.. Unless there's an adapter I need? The psu I currently have is 6 years old at least

The HX520 should have a 4+4pin ATX that join together to make a single 8pin ATX?

I tried looking on the corsair site and couldn't see anything maybe I'm being blind. I know my current mobo has a 4pin after looking at the manual. Maybe I'll try having a look in my current rig and see, think that connector is under my heatsink though which makes things abit difficult.

If I don't need a new psu then bonus :)

Well just took the other side of my case off (you know the side you only have off when setting up your rig & routing cables about) and sure enough there was the 8 pin connector sitting there nicely cabled tied out the way of everything :)

Good spot ThaReaperGuy & Stulid, guess I won't need a PSU after all :D
