Just put the latest version on my laptop but cant find the option to display my inbox when it opens. It works fine on my desktop and pc at work but I can't find an option to enable it any ideas
I think you will find that if you uncheck the box in Options/Thunderbird start page, it will auto start with your Inbox. I installed v2 over the previous one, so it kept everything as it was anyway.
Yup. Tools>Options>General tab. Thunderbird Start Page. Uncheck the box and next time Thunderbird should go into the Inbox. Just done that myself and I quite like it. Saves me two mouseclicks getting from the main page to my Inbox.
It might not be a good idea reinstalling Thunderbird. All you will be doing is reinstalling the program. Your profile for Thunderbird will be untouched and that is what could be causing the new setting to not be made.
