Hey all

I have a quick question. Since 2014 I have had the 780TI, I've seen over the pass few days that the 1070TI has had several discounts (at least discount in the current market value) and I have been planning to upgrade my GPU, would this be a decent upgrade? I'd rather not wait for next gen and my price range is around £450.

If you're referring to this:
My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £449.89 (includes shipping: £9.90)

Then yes, that is a good price for 1070ti.

From this link you can get an idea of performance against Pascal cards. The GTX 1080 numbers are most relevant here, as you can overclock a GTX 1070ti to near GTX 1080 performance.

Either way, will be a huge upgrade in all aspects.

1070ti is a cracking card and nice overclock and catch up with the standard 1080 version .

Built rig for my friend with the above card after being in the Amazon for 3 years haha

Lovely stuff. However I am looking on ebay at the moment for manufacturor refurb 1080TI's or second hand ones (no mining...(hopefully). Best I've seen so far is £590, was wondering to play it say get 1070TI here or take a punt there....

if you have a screen that is 1440p and OVER 60Hz or 4k screen then yeah 1080ti worth it for power .

gtx 70ti/80 can handle 100hz 1440p but 80ti would keep the frames high and at ultra settings

as for warranty, grey area !

least your covered by Gigabyte and OCUK brand new. and just pray that the refurb unit comes with proof of the refurb job...

" Hi, there aren’t any actual photos available at this time sorry, the item is brand new sealed in box and if you decide to purchase the product and you are unhappy with it then you can always return it for your money back :). The shipping is from St. Helens, Merseyside in the Uk. "

Alarm bells be ringing :)
