Quick vandalism question...

The cops won't do anything till someone is hurt.

Won't they ?

A complaint is made where there is an allegation of threats to kill along with witness intimidation. The cops do nothing and someone is hurt
and there is an audit trail of the previous allegations leading straight to the cops and possible litigation.

That's an awfully big risk to take deuse don't you think ?

Right. So that is in hand albeit by means of civil law rather than criminal.
.

by your wording you seem to have a good knowledge of this type of thing, thanks.

I'm coming to the vague OCUK conclusion that my parnets have got no chance evne if this guy is done for vandalism??? this can't be true surely?

I'm 90% sure this guy is about to do something utterly mental, I'm the most level headed couldn't give a toss person there is. So basically we're screwed.

Well just look at mcast123 post and you will see he has come to the internet for help
does that sound to you like the police there(not you) have done a good job?

Lets hope when they do go around and see him he backs off.

You're welcome.

With respect to the forums here, take the advice of the cops and not people who swing the Interwebz Keyboard of Justice.

If your parents want to make a complaint then they should do so. How far the cops go and what evidence is there to be gleaned I'm afraid I can't answer for you.

Don't think like that.

Even if a criminal case isn't possible, think along the civil route.

By that I mean you mentioned a solicitor being involved in the land dispute. Try running the associated threats and problems with this guy through him or her and test the water as to getting an injunction against him.

Make sure that every instance of contact, words etc is documented and available for police or a solicitor.

As I said, to not act on such an allegation is an awfully big risk and not one I would take.

Long story short doesn't really tell us much about this 'shared access' dispute though. Are you using the car to block your neighbour getting to his property? Is that why he's keyed it? Got any more info you can give us?
