When it works it's great but it's not 100% reliable.
EAX 3-5 isn't properly implemented on the Xonar for a number of games. If this is the case you can probably still use EAX 2 though.
EAX 3 doesn't work on a Xonar in Rome: Total War for example. From reading reviews, I gather that Thief: Deadly Shadows and COD2 also have problems. BIOSHOCK only works with later versions of the Xonar drivers. Hopefully future driver revisions will sort out these problems but it's not guarenteed.
