Hi

I'm after a main drive for a gaming machine, I used to use Raptors but apparently they are not as good as they used to be

Basically I dont want to spend more than £150, it doesnt really need to be more 100GB i'd rather have speed than capacity for my main drive but not really anything less than 100GB

As i'm building a new gaming PC i've spent a lot of time reading up on most things but HDD's really do escape me, I almost bought the 150GB VelciRaptor for £130 but someone on the internets said there is much better out there, what that much better is I dont know, any help please?

Oh and to add to the complications the board will be SATA3 so I dont know if I can take advantage of that with anything in budget

Thanks

I'm really not fussed on SSD, it needs to be 100GB or over and under £150

I need to understand whats better, a high performance SATA2 and if so which ones or one of the few SATA3's if they are in budget
