Quicktime Alternative - no sound when playing mov files

Hi,

As the title really, I get video but no sound when playing .mov files on the PC. Using Vista ultimate with Quicktime Alternative 2.3.0 just installed. also got media player classic, ffdshow and AC3 filter installed, any ideas?

You may need to install the CoreAAC decoder for some Apple format encoded files. filter which is not a part of QTALT.

at least i've never had the issue above, and have only installed the same things as five-star

I thought so too but some quicktime files had no audio for me in WMP or MPC until I installed CoreAAC !
