Hi have a quick Q. Do Nvidia Make the 8800's and then ship them to the makes like EVGA and BFG etc for them to put stickers on and put them in there boxes etc. Or do Nvidia make the parts then EVGA bfg etc assemble them?

Recommend you remove your misspelling on 'ship' :)

Was it what I think it was? :o

I think BFG/EVGA and the like get the cards shipped to them cooler-less and they put the coolers on themselves, as that's how sometimes you end up with after-market coolers.

Although I may be wrong.

Nvidia just make the core chips themselves (or is it TMSC or some other foundry?). Reference boards are actually made by two or three third parties who then sell them on to most of the other card "manufacturers". It's something like only Asus and some other company that actually manufacture and sell their own design cards.

Edit: Come to think of it Asus only do ATI
