Quiet Air Cooler for 3700x?

Most if not all cooler mounts will mount cooler so it's airflow is toward back of case. But that does not mean cooler will clear RAM or GPU sockets.

How did you get on with the fuma 2?
 
I still need to collect it and the rest of the build. Hoping to put it together by the end of the week. Reviews look decent and it was only £38 second hand with allegedly only minimal use.

Will report back.
 
heatpipe coolers don't wear out. Heatpipe life is extremely long. Only the fans can wear out. The first tower heatpipe cooler I got was Thermalright HR 01 in 2005, 2nd is Ultima which has been in use every sense and still going strong. I have changed fans, but that's all.
 
DR Pro 4 user here, I have a 5600x cpu and when mining the CPU temp would hit 95c constant with the AMD stock fan on (1x140mm front, 1x120mm at back and top of the Fractal design Meshify C case). after switching to DR Pro 4 and added in 1x140mm at the front and 1x120mm at the top, temp is now around 59c while fan noise remains low. just be aware that the installation would be quite tricky if you were to do it without taking the MB out, expecially in a mid tower case.
