I've been wanting to get a much quieter case and fans for a while, but haven't really got anywhere and I've just gotten a bit of money for my birthday so thought now would be a good time to upgrade. Nearly went for a Phenom M, but decided I didn't want to spend the extra money to get a Micro ATX Mobo. I've decided I'm going to stick with ATX to maybe save some money.

My PC currently has the following:

Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.30GHz
Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) Mobo
MSI HD 7850 OC 2048MB Graphics Card
1TB 3.5" HDD 7200RPM
BeQuiet Pure Power L8 630W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply
Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 16GB (4 x 8GB)

I'm really just looking for a good looking and quiet ATX case and some really quiet fans for cooling. Was thinking of getting a watercooler for the CPU if it would make the build quieter and help overclocking, but not really sure which one would be the best. Not sure, but a fan controller might be good as well. What would you guys suggest?

Thanks, Owen

I have a similar issue, looking to make a new build but has to be quiet. The Fractal Design Define R4 sounds like a solid choice, but I would like to fit a H110 Corsair AIO cooler, but can't find out if it will fit! Check the case out and see what you think!

Thanks for the reply. Can't really see images that well as the work computers don't display them well. Is it a glossy front? If so, I'd rather get something matte, think of the finger prints!! :p :D

I went for a antec p280 but have not had chance to build the system yet but maybe worth a look. The r4 does look a great case but i have heard bad things about build quality

I have the Fractal R3 and it is by no means quiet. Especially with a GTX 670 and 8TB of raw storage in it. When the house is quiet I can hear the hum from it through the floor when I'm downstairs.

I've been looking at the Nanoxia Deep Silence cases, but looks like OCUK don't sell them, anyone have an opinion of them? Perhaps that would be a good start for the OP?
