Quiet but powerful fans for 3950x build

So far it's between the redux noctuas and the noise blockers then.
Someone ride suggested the Arctics, but they just seem low rpm which is not the same as quiet fan in my eyes. I need power to shift air and low noise operation

Not suggesting Actic P series, but they are not low rpm.
Arctic BioniX P120 PWM spec is 2100rpm, 67.56cfm, 2.75mm H2O
Arctic P12 TC spec is 1800rpm, 56.3cfm 2.2mm H2O
Arctic BioniX P140 spec is 1950rpm, 77.6cfm, 2.85mm H2O
Arctic P140 spec is 1700rpm, 72.8cfm, 2.4mm H2O

To bad Phantkes PH-F140PM and PH-F120MP 2-packs are not in stock.
PH-F120MP spec is 1800rpm, 53.3cfm 1.72mm H2O
PH=F140MP spec is 1600rpm, 68.1cfm, 1.62mm H2O
Coolingtechnique fan testing is quite good. Their testing gives static pressure, noise level, cfm , etc from startup to full speed.

PH-TC14S is same motor and impeller as PH-F140MP in round frame for coolers. Only difference for PH-F140MP is sqare housing

Have not tested NF-A12x25

They have tested many others and have videos of testing so can listen to fan at all speeds.

VSG did a lot of fan tests on radiators on his Thermalbench site. He moved to another site, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

arctic P12 fans. cheap, quiet and powerful. 2x360 rads with 6 P12's on a 3900x running 4.2ghz 1.35v. Don't get near your gaming temps and I only run them at 50% (around 900rpm)

what is your set up and CPU settings.

3950x, 1 x 240 and 1 x 360 radiator, ml 120s some rgb some not. (I was wrong about having 140s) they are all 120.
4.2ghz 8 cores, 3.8 other 8 cores (to reduce heat) 1.3v

Idles at 55-62 games at 70-78 at the moment as the fans only go to 50% maximum, hence needing to see if there are better fans as the noise at 60% or more is overwhelming, 100% is literally heard 2 rooms away

if you're idling at 52-62 you have an problem somewhere

If you're getting those temps then I think it's your case and airflow that are the issue. not necessarily the fans.

I use ML120s, ML140s, and Silent Wings 3 120's in a totally silent build at idle and quiet at load. I never run my ML's higher than about 50%, granted only a 9600K at 4.8ghz but I'm idling at 29C in the Summer doing office work and browsing internet. Silent Wings 3 are quieter but honestly not by much, ML120 go ultra high RPM compared to most fans so they are very noisy at that level but I never ever need the 2500RPM they max at, I never run over 1000RPM at max or so.

I wouldn't put with 50c idle at all. I think there's something's wrong with your case and airflow, you could get much better temps and noise with just air cooling with a good mesh front case.

I have a p400 with a mesh front, maybe I should look at what's going on in the case as well as set my fans to slightly higher rpm
It's weird though as my 2080ti stays at 40.c under full load

To be fair your processor makes mine look like a little toy, maybe all those cores really need that extra cooling.

For noise reference if it helps at all, I find the ML120s to be 'silent' at 450RPM, but Silent Wings 3 120s are still 'silent' at 650RPM. Silent as in inaudible 2 feet away on desktop. ML120's too loud for load at 1100RPM or so, Silent Wings's 3 too loud for load at 1300RPM or so, so I keep both under that. Max out about 63c on 2070 Super and about 67c on CPU.

I've got a P600s. Turned my fans right down to ~550rpm and my pump to 1300rpm and the temps are pretty much the same.

was playing GTA V for an hour with my fans at 50% and the max was 62C

what pump, rads and blocks do you have?

Ek xres d5 100 I think, with a 240 x stream something and a 360 alphacool.
4 of my 6 120s are rgb, they may not be as good as the standard?

Those noctuas seem like the best bet there
Although some how the stock phanteks fans are incredible
"Stock Phanteks fans" are PH-F140HP-II supplied on coolers that use 140mm fans
PH-F140HP2-1.jpg

and PH-F140MP.
PH-F140MP-4.jpg

Case fans with no model number are basically PH-F140SP with same impeller.
