Quiet hard disk recommendation

Can anyone recommend me which is the quietest of the current crop of 250Gb SATA hard disks out there?

I cant remember if more people are in favour of the Seagate's or Samsung spinpoint - believe I've read good reviews on both, but from experience which is quieter?

I've not owned a Sammy but all seagate's I've had have been pretty quiet. The 320GB 7200.10 (one amazing drive, certainly one of the best out there at the moment) which I have now is very quiet.

Seagate's ***, I have one at the moment had for 3 years, still quiet, its an old 60gb but does the job

I prefer samsung's, I find seagates have a slightly annoying seek noise. BUt that's just me being picky :rolleyes:

However Seagate's are the most one of the most reliable and come with a good 5 year warranty too.
