Quietest mech HDD?

I just currently have a 1tb Seagate as a storage drive and to my ears its anything but quiet and vibrates like a maniac.

Are all mechanical HDD's basically the same when it comes to acoustics or are some manufacturers better than others?

I use 2.5" mech drives as I find them quieter.

Only downside to 2.5" drives is that most cases do not soft mount them, so if they are out of balance they make a heck of a noise.

Nearly all Mech HDD's are silent, if you bungee mod them into your case.

I use a 750GB WD Blue laptop drive in my main PC. SSDs for Windows and Steam, I use the WD Blue as a 'temp' folder basically.
