Diagnosis Murder was devised by Dick Van Dyke to give his son an acting job, seeing as he was so carp, no one else would employ him. Its still a top show though along with Quincy.
Some people attribute hard work, pro plus, etc to getting them through uni. I got through uni because of Qunicy giving me strength!!

quincy rocks, petrochelli is good too! another good show in this mold is banacek with george peppard
