I currently have a I've got a 460 watt PSU. I'm going to get a Samsung SpinPoint T 320GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD321KJ) OCUK Stock Code: HD-039-SA

Do you think I'll have enough power in my current PSU? If not, can you recomend me a quite PSU?

Current setup:
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.20GHz (Socket AM2) Retail
Memory: GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
Motherboard: Asrock ALiveSATA2-GLAN (Socket AM2) PCI-Express DDR2
Video: ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

What is the PSU? 460w doesn't really tell me enough to be able to say how good it is, I'd guess that it is probably an Akasa because it is one of the brands that does make that wattage and they sell well but without knowing more I wouldn't like to say.

It was brought from another online store, so I can't (So I've been told) say the name of the competitor. It was a own brand PSU.

That does make it a bit more tricky, can you read the Amps for the rails off the side of the PSU and post them here? That would be the next best thing but you are right that you shouldn't go posting competitors.

//edit at a rough guess it should be ok since the hard drive won't add hugely to the load (max of about 15w normally) but it would still be better to check the Amps.
