"Got my mind on my money and my money on my mind"

Anyone know where this quote / lyric originated? I'm thinking maybe NWA or Snoop?? Or perhaps it was an old quote from something way back which has simply become ubiquitous??

Dont know if he used it first, but Snoop 'Doggy' Dogg used those word in Gin and Juice, which was circa 1993, certainly before these 'youngbloodz' characters.

Skip to about 1.53 in this video:

Coolio's Gangster's Paradise.

It is a lyric used by other artists but this one is the most well know occurrence afaik.

The line is uttered then the chorus comes back in I think...

how can it of originated from gangstars paradise when snoop used it in gin and juice a year or two earlier ,which was a main track from a hit album ?

As previously said, Snoop used it on his track Gin & Juice, unfortunately hop hop has become something of a joke in recent history and thus people are just ripping off lines from old school tracks.

Yup, one chorus line turned into a song.
