R.I.P Bandit

Just been lay on the couch with 3 of my dogs asleep on me, you feel unconditional love from them. Your post brought tears to my eyes fella !

Know the exact feeling mate, been there my self. Not nice and no one should do it. But you made the right choice and I am sure he is thankful for you making that choice :)

Very sorry to hear that mate. It's not nice losing any animal. I have been there many times and it has never been easy to deal with. I still miss all the pets I had. They were Family to me :(
We have two Border Collies at home, and the eldest will soon be 12. They are so intelligent too :D

I love that laughing pic too :) Gorgeous Dog.

I echo what others have said.

He sounds like a lovely member of the family. I cannot imagine what it must feel like to loose a pet you have had for such a long time. I have 2 cats and a dog and they are a huge part of my family. Home never feels the same when they are not here.

He looks fabulous, a real happy pet.

Remember the good times you had with him.
 
I know time will heal, but I will never forget him just as I never forgot Bonny, the last dog I lost some ten years ago now, still miss her sooo much :(

I can relate to you, I held the dog I grew up with while he was put to sleep a few years ago..Still makes me shed a tear when I think of it, I know we did the right thing though..
