That's way too young to go. It's always very sad when 'one of us' passes away and it's happening a lot recently. I guess the forum has been around long enough that it's inevitable. RIP to one of us.

Extremely sad. I remember fondly meeting up with him on a NY Moors road trip when we were much younger. We stayed in contact ever since. He would always be keen to send me pics of his new car purchase or just talk on the phone about things. We hadn’t spoke for a while and that is something I deeply regret

I won’t lie it’s knocked me for six.

If I remember the thread right wasn't he just looking at buying a house with his partner?!
 
Wow, that's so sad, truly awful :( He was certainly a bit of a character around here but this is only the internet. What a tragedy :(
