So at the moment I am planning a full system rebuild, and for my birthday I am looking to get the GPU, PSU and Case.
For PSU im looking at the EVGA Supernova G2 1000w
For GPU I am unsure where to go from my R9 290
For case im looking at the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe or the NZXT H440 2015

Any ideas on what to do with the 290, I could crossfire it but the auction houses prices are high at the minute, I could get a 390 and crossfire with the 290, or i could sell the 290 and do something. I dunno give me ideas lads!

You would be better off selling the 290 while the price is still high and get the 390, at later date you could get another 390.

Psu is fine to get.

Case filp a coin.

What would be the point in that? 390 is the same as a 290 just has a little faster clock speed and more vram.

What resolution u playing at?

I am at 2560x1080, but looking at getting a 2nd monitor, which i want to be 2560x1440 or 3440x1440 144hz with FreeSync.
I am not really wanting to wait, as ill probably just sell the card this time next year and upgrade again as i will be done school and working then.

Also, any recommendations on a PSU and case ideas?
Looking to save some money :p
Currently on SuperNova G2 1000w and the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe

Forgot to say CURRENT specs
AMD 8320 @3.4Ghz (need to invest some time to re-overclock) CPU
Corsair H100 Cpu Cooler
MSI 990FXA-GD65 Mobo
Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600mhz RAM
Sapphire Reference R9 290 GPU
Corsair CX750M PSU
LG 29UB65-P Monitor
Bitfenix Alfar Windowed

The PSU is fine just too powerful for one card, im using a 850w g2 and its fine, even with GPUs and CPU overclocked its not pulling 850w. I would only go for the 1000w model if you are likely to go SLI/crossfire in the future.

The only really " good " upgrade for you, having owned a 290 is either a fury X or a gtx 980ti personally the gtx 980ti is the better and faster card. Anything else will be a lesser upgrade.
From a 290 I went to a gtx 980 and overclocked it is a good bit faster than the Overclocked 290 (just over a third faster in the heaven benchmark). But still I would honestly say really from a 290 you need to get the fury X or the 980ti for a really good upgrade.

They are too far out of my price range unfortunately thats the only thing

So do you think an 850w is enough for 2 overclocked 290s?

Whats your budget for everything? People could probably offer you the best upgrade for your budget.

Yeah it is, but like i said if you know your definately gonna go for sli/crossfire then the 1k unit is a good buy. I was just using my situation as an example so you didnt buy the 1k unit for a single card setup.

Im just getting what i want, when i can afford it, for birthday ill have say 590 ish to spend, christmas probably 650 ish.
However, from all of that, minus 120 for the CPU (5820k) (getting it through a family member at Intel).
Everything else is undecided.

possible airflow problems with a h440 so go for the luxe if that matters to you. im sure the H440 is a silent case. the luxe isnt.
