Race Driver: Grid

LOL Just got my new 660GT... does anyone else find it really hard with the force feedback on? Much easier without :)

EDIT: managed to tune it just right :D

Yep I've set the feedback to just 20% to give a small realistic feel while being able to control the car in a straight line. 100% makes it a real pain in the whatsit to drive!!!

Not sure if its been mentioned in here but you will need a dual layer dvd to play the pc version:

We only support dual layer DVD for GRID as there is no way we could fit all of the data onto a single layer. DIRT was also dual layer, though we made a special two disk version for anyone without a dual layer DVD, but take up was negligable.

On my G25 the wheel still feels rather light also seems no rumble effects over the kerbs or in shunts/crashes.

Check back a few pages in this thread for a guide on how to reset the G25 to work properly with Grid, worked wonders for me.

Hopefully in the full game you'll be able to choose which livary your car has, rather than being forced into one. Love the Virgin Media one for the BMW's, looks great.

Just been reading about the DLC that will be on the consoles (extra cars and maybe tracks), think we'll have to pay for them too (like in TDU)?

iirc you can choose your sponsors etc. which implies you would probably be able to change colours too
