When you say a person is tall, you're saying they're tall in comparison to other people. When you say a car is fast, you're saying it's fast in comparison to other cars.

I'm struggling to understand your point here. Why does it matter if the UK is the least racist or least sexist or whatever ist/ism? If there's still racism/sexism present and the people affected by it are complaining, what good is it to them to point out that the UK is the least whatever.

Their motivation is largely irrelevant. The perception of the victim or other employees trumps it as to whether it's a problem or not, especially when the behaviour is ongoing.

If the bar is that low then hiring minorities is a risk employers will refuse to take.

Question: do you feel society is more cohesive or less cohesive than 20 years ago?

I would firmly say the latter, but I would wouldn't I #checkyourprivilege.

Most people will naturally self-segregate, we see it all the time. But then some ideologue will come along and spend millions forcing them together, and millions more dealing with the issues of forcing them together.

I don’t think ‘Multiculturalism’ was the plan. It’s just a name they gave to mass immigration + non-integration. Now we have a whole host of ‘communities’ jostling for power and resources. Victimhood being the main vector for minorities. A reputation for extreme violence is also beneficial.

A diversity advocate called Robert Putnam wanted to prove once and for all that diversity was a benefit. His finding showed the opposite, so he kept the results to himself for several years.

Everything about human evolution is working against a multi-racial society, and we see that played-out daily. A mistake the wokies make is taking individual interactions and scaling it up to groups. But groups interact very differently to individuals.

The Left/Right spectrum over the last 7-8 years has morphed from class into an Emotional/Practical spectrum. The Practical side says we’ve got this problem 99.9% sorted, and that’s pretty damn good. While the Emotional side blubbers over the 0.1%. The Emotional side uses vagaries of Systemic and Institutional because it’s based on feelings. The Practical reacts to stats and the quantifiable.

The modern Left is emotional/feminine, and the Right is practical/masculine. I’d even go as far to say that politics now has a genetic influence to it, and thus minds are unlikely to be changed.

EDIT: In a thread like this the emotional side wants to nurture and protect minorities because it views them as weak and helpless, like an infant.
